| Q.What are the benefits of a parent partner agreement? |
There are many benefits of being a parent partner.
Our experience is that many parents who value our service are very keen to pass on the details to their family and friends, so that their respective children might also benefit from the service.
- The first benefit is that you will have the satisfaction of knowing that you have potentially enabled other parents to support the needs of their children in the key educational areas of Maths and English at very low cost.
- Becoming a parent partner of Right2Learn creates a simple process for parents to spread the word to others, in a way that is easy to track and rewards the parent partner financially for doing so, where such referrals lead to subscriptions.
- Unlike most other companies that offer an incentive to introduce new customers, we make the reward ongoing for parent partners. Every time a parent you have introduced to our service makes a payment, you will also automatically receive a payment as a revenue share.

| Q. How can I earn money as a parent partner? |
There are three simple steps to earning money for introducing other parents:
- First of all, you must be an existing subscriber to content on the Right2Learn website. A subscription can be made via the “buy test” button, then making secure payments from just £10 on a monthly basis.
- Secondly, click the “become a partner” link and within your parent account and confirm you have read the relevant terms and conditions. You will then be given a unique reference number, which will appear within your “view account” page and will be emailed to you, along with the details of the parent partner agreement.
- Thirdly, simply recommend the Right2Learn website to others, either verbally or by using the “Inform a friend” link on the home page: www.right2learn.co.uk – and providing them with your unique reference number – and asking them to enter it on the registration page if they subscribe.
Thereafter, each time a parent who entered your unique reference code when registering for the Right2Learn service makes a subscription payment, you will automatically receive a payment as a percentage of the fee paid.
You will be able to track the number of parents you have introduced and revenue you have earned via your “view account” page. |

|
How should I prepare my child for the assessments? |
|
This varies of course according to the child and your own objectives as a parent in registering
them for the tests. However, it is recommended that parents explain what is about to happen before
the child begins the first test, so that she/he has some forewarning and understanding of what to
expect. We recommend you introduce the service as follows:
- Click on the "children" link via the right2learn home page and allow your child to access the practice questions.
- Stress the following:
- Click on the yellow writing of the question to hear it read out again
- Click on each answer to hear them read out
- Click on "MORE TIME" on the right to have more time if needed
- Do not rush or panic. There are approximately 1 ½ to 2 minutes for each question
We also advise that parents sit with the child at the very start to ensure that they have
understood the multi-choice concept and how to answer (with the mouse), and do not feel under pressure. |

|
Q. How often should my child be assessed? |
|
This varies with each child.
However, it is our recommendation that parents resist the temptation to overdo the assessments and
run too many within a short time frame. The main purpose of the assessments is to identify strengths
and areas for improvement and to boost your child's confidence in a fun manner.
There are four Maths assessments and three English assessments available relating to each term
(Autumn, Spring and Summer). A recommended approach might be as follows:
- Run one Maths or English assessment each week, alternating by subject
- Go through the "view test" review feature with your child over the following few days
- Try the additional questions within the "explain answers" feature where necessary
- After approximately 7 or 8 weeks, all assessments for a term will have been run once
- Print the reports via "view report" and "page 2" for analysis
- Once you have printed the report pages, begin resetting each assessment - one at a time, each week and repeating the process.
- Compare results from the first occasion several weeks before
This would be a sensible approach which avoids putting your child under pressure, whilst allowing time to address and build on the areas identified within each report.
With such a staged and planned approach, you would also be able to witness and measure your child's progress. |

Q. How can I view the questions afterwards, to go through them with my child? |
|
Once each assessment is completed, an immediate score is shown to your child, and then a "view test" button appears to the right.
Click on this button and the review feature shows each question on static pages, and allows you to go through each one and also access the explanation notes to develop your child's learning.
The "explain answer" button also lists the learning objective measured with the question.
The colour coding shows correct answers in red and the answer your child gave in yellow. Correct answers show the yellow box within the red box, and builds child confidence.
This feature enables you to both identify your child's strengths and learning needs, and also begin to address the needs by accessing the explanations.
An additional question appears at the bottom of each explanation, to allow you to try a further example and build further confidence. |

|
Q.What can I do with the results? |
|
A statistical report appears once all assessments within the termly bank (eg: Maths Autumn) have been completed.
This report clarifies the subject areas for the questions answered, and which objectives from the curriculum were being assessed. This information should assist you in identifying existing strengths and subject areas where the greatest potential improvement might be gained.
You may also print the report for reference - which we recommend you do, especially if you plan to "reset" any assessments for your child to take again, to enable you to compare the results.
A certificate also appears in each section once all assessments are completed, which shows your child's name and overall total number of questions correctly answered. Children love this to be printed! |
